Macmillan, 1866. 2 volumes. Spine gilt with explorer on buffalo; canoes on lake in gilt on front covers. Vol 1- Spine and front cover partly soiled and worn, corners bumped; head and tail of spine very slightly frayed, contents clean and complete, in good order. 375 pages. Repaired, coloured map sewn in after title page; frontispiece- side by side cameos of Sir S Baker and wife, plus 22 prints. Ink stain on 2nd map and opposite page. Vol. 2 far superior, tighter, fewer signs of wear, uniform with vol.1, 384 pages including index both books; coloured frontispiece- boats on lake, plus 11 plates.. First Edition. Green Cloth. Good/No Jacket. 5.5 " x 8.0". Hardback.
