Ives Washburn, 1935. Book. Very Good+. Hardcover. Later printing.. Solid later printing (1935) of the first edition in original dust jacket. Orange cloth boards with blue lettering on cover and spine. Quite clean, no fraying, binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Very nice clean decorated endpapers with beautiful old custom bookplate on front fixed endpaper. Pages and edges are clean. 355 pages. Dust jacket has large piece missing at spine, not price clipped (2.50 on front inside flap), edge wear and closed tears - now enclosed in clean archival quality removable mylar cover. Scarce book, the astounding biography of a gangster and a history of modern day carnage..
