Maroon cloth boards and spine with gilt and maroon lettering on the spine and front board in gilt shadowboxes. Clean internals. Internal hinges are sound and not split. 326 pp 8vo. This book was written for undergraduate courses in aircraft jet powerplants with special emphasis on the gas turbine. Chapters 1-6 cover over-all jet propulsion and gas turbine principles; Chapters 7-11 present jet engine components- inlet diffuser, compressor, combustion chamber and jet nozzle; Chapters 12-13 give the fundamentals of ramjets and rockets. A clean very presentable copy.
