The age-toned dustjacket has some tape marks and a small piece missing at base of spine - now protected in our purpose-made plastic sleeve. Front flyleaf clipped. Interior age-toned. Uncommon. This book is written by a foreign journalist and political commentator and falls into three parts: First part deals with the phenomenon of Hitlerism and Hitler himself; Second part forms a discussion of the war aims and plan for organising post-war Europe; and the Third part is a postscript to war, in which the author comments on the war to date (1940) and contemplates possible outcomes. Axel Heyst was a pseudomyn for Zbigniew Grabowski, a pre-war commentator for the “Ilustrowany Kurier Codzienny” in London. . 1st Edition. Hardback.
