London: Macmillan and Co, 1928. 1st Edition . Cloth. Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Green cloth binding with gilt lion on the front cover. Bowing to the covers, some marking, faded patch on the spine. Neat pictorial Belfast library bookplate on the endpaper, their low visibility blindstamp (no ink) on the title and on the plates, remains of label on the endpaper and very faint number on the title reverse. The pages are pretty clean, repaired tear to page 9/10. Pages; VIII, 246, (2). With 8 sheets of colour plates of African animals.
