Title page inscribed in ink to the former head of the Seattle chapter of Mystery Readers International: "To -- with best wishes and [...]." Mild age-toning to leaves. In the color illustrated dust jacket with price unclipped. First in Meirion James Trow's series of seventeen novels based on the Sherlock Holmes character. Dust jacket now housed in a removable clear archival sleeve.
