Text clean and unmarked except for bookseller's price notations in pencil at free front endpaper. Pages slightly toned, flyleaves foxed. Illustrated with full page engravings in b/w. Brown cloth boards decorated in black and gilt at front and spine. All edges rubbed, corners bumped and worn to boards, spine top and tail frayed. Joints and hinges good, binding firm.
