About This Item

The Hague, Netherlands Mouton, 1972. Paperback First Edition Thus (1971 & 1972); apparently a later printing (1977). Very Good+ in Good+ DJ: The Books show indications of very careful use; just a touch of wear to the extremities; the faintest smudges to the outside edges; a former owner's name - or such - has been whited-out at the upper corner of the half-title page; the bindings are square and secure; the texts are clean. Free of creases to the panels. Free of creases to the backstrip. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Carefully used copies, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing several unobtrusive cosmetic flaws. The DJs shows considerable rubbing to the panels (Volume I somewhat more rubbed than Volume II); moderate wear to the extremities; a scuff to the upper corner of the front panel of Volume I; neither flap has been clipped. Both DJs show some wear, but remains serviceable and not unattractive. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (9.5 x 6.35 x 2.3 inches). 418 & 534 pages. Fold-out maps and inserts. Language: English. Weight: 3 pounds, 13.6 ounces. First Edition Thus (1971 & 1972); apparently a later printing (1977). Paperbacks with DJs.
