La Jolla, CA: Yuma County Historical Society, 1969. First Edition. Octavo. 113p. Arizona's dreaded and at times a brutal territorial prison. Jeffrey's account is well-researched with photographs and documents to illustrate his discoveries. Besides pictures of the prison in its different stages, there are many of handcuffs, leg irons and similar items. A fine copy bound in red cloth lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt, in fine pictorial dust jacket.
