Nashvill: Printed at the Republican Banner Offic, 1842. [4],47pp. Contemporary half calf and boards. Spine and corners heavily worn and mostly perished. Contemporary ownership markings on end leaves. Lightly dampstained. About good. Acts passed at this session include a number of laws which relate to the Panic of 1837, including several which directly concern banking. Acts such as an act abolishing imprisonment for debt; an act for the relief of debtors to the Bank of Tennessee; an act to relieve the people of the state by amending an act of 1820 entitled "an act to prevent a sacrifice of real estate and for other purposes"; and an act authorizing banks to issue money.
