Board spine and tail rubbed, faint rubbing to spine joins with boards. Edges lightly rubbed. Elephant Head vignette bright, faint rubbing. No inscriptions. Light toning to endpapers, very few faint fox marks to rear endpaper.Gilt top edges. "American copyright edition 1909" verso title page. 301pp plus 12 page publisher catalogue at rear of text.
