New York: E.P. Dutton & Co., Inc., 1943. Hardcover, blue cloth lettered in black, no dust-jacket. 189 pages. Stated first edition. Gilpatric's novelized tie-in about the Merchant Marine, from the Warner Brothers film of the same year, starring Humphrey Bogart. Illustrated, with permission, with 23 full page photographic stills from the movie. No previous ownership marks. Light foxing to endpapers, and some mild sporadic foxing throughout, largely marginal. A sound, internally clean copy, with all photographs extant. Good.. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
