Accident for Inspector West by John Creasey - 1957

1st printing of 1st edition; apparently author's copy. Very Good HC with Poor DJ. Green boards with gilt stamped titles on front cover and spine. Clean, square covers and spine; very lightly scuffed; tightly bound; stamp on front free end paper 'From: John Creasey' including his home address in Bournemouth; same stamp on half title as well as on rear free end paper; also on front free end paper is a hand written note 'Publication date | in Great Britain | 20th June 1957'; also stamp of later owner dated 1973; bright, clean interior; supple leaves. DJ is in 2 pieces and laid in; front and rear covers and both flaps present and substantially complete with front cover missing a 1 inch chip and a 1/2 inch chip; most of spine is lacking but for title and author name; DJ is scuffed and somewhat soiled. 12mo, 191 pp.
