William Hazlitt's third book, an abridgment of the magnum opus of 18th century English philosopher Abraham Tucker (1705-1774). The Light of Nature Pursued was first published over ten years (1768-78) in seven volumes., under the pseudonym Edward Search, Esq. Esher armorial bookplate on the front paste-down.
