Hartcourt, Brace and Company, 1954. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Fine. FIRST EDITION. Hardcover, no dust jacket. Red cloth cover with gold stamp has a very minor mark on the front cover and a slightly worn spine. The boards are clean, straight, and undamaged. Previous owner's library nameplate carefully pasted to the inside front cover. Pages show minor discoloration due to age, but are firmly bound to the spine. This book is in very fine condition.
Synopsis
The story of Lincoln's life from his inauguration in 1861 to his death and funeral in 1865. Awarded the Pulitzer Prize in History, 1940.
