London: Macmillan London, 1983. Cloth. Good/good +. Octavo, pp. [32], including half-pages. Red boards with bumping and gilt accents. Slightly cocked spine. Firm binding; no loose pages. A couple of small stains inside the covers; otherwise pages appear clean and unmarked. Dust jacket with rubbing, sunning, chips and tears; now encased in a clear, protective cover. This book includes upstairs and downstairs illustrations from the Middle Ages through Edward VII (1910). Half-pages are used to display two different scenes from each time period.
