Describes the types of Aboriginal sites found within the State and outlines the major problems in their protection and the terms of the new legislation. The pamphlet covers: Types of site, occupation sites, occupation deposits, midden deposits, open campsites and "working" areas, tool sharpening grooves, canoe, shield and container trees, quarries, fish traps, burials, fossil remains, art and ceremonial sites, rock engravings, carved trees, ceremonial grounds, stone arrangements, natural sacred sites, recording, legal protection, vandalism, development, natural deterioration.
