Light wear to tips, corners and edges of book and jacket; jacket has been taped down leaving marks. Among the authors are Richard Adams and Miss Read. Adams contributed an article on Broughton-In-Furness in Cumbria. Miss Read has written a memoir of her teaching days (naturally) in Peasmore, Berkshire, where she was the sole teacher in a village school for sixteen students, ages five to eleven. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
