Small Library of Parliament rubber stamp dated Mar 5 1954 ion front pastedown. Additional stamp on copyright page showing cancelled or released 1977. No other markings. Price clipped jacket has shallow chip (2mm) at head of spine and edgewear with tiny amount of paper loss at base of spine. Both front and rear panel fresh and bright. Basis for film which featured Kim Novak. In mylar. . First American Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good Plus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
