Paris: Hachette et Cie, 1881. Soft cover. Very Good. Le Sahara Algérien: Les Deserts de l'Erg. Par V. Largeau." Paris: Librairie Hachette (1881). second edition, 7¼ inches tall, in contemporary pictorial wrappers; 352 pp., plus three folding maps. This copy shows some wear, with a tear to the upper cover and loss to head and foot of the spine. There is occasional spotting/foxing throughout the interior, esp. to the preliminary leaves. There is also mild damp-staining to the preliminary leaves. The binding is strong. All engravings (17) are present, along with the three folding maps. Overall a solid copy of this interesting work. Text is in French.
