Manuscript map; 14" x 17" approx. size; depicting 11 acre parcel of land, part of which was bounded by the shoreline of Flushing Bay and along which ran the Astoria & Flushing Turnpike Road; at lower left corner is a list of the surveyor's Field Notes, giving dimensions and layout of the piece, "...Protracted by a scale of two chains to an inch."; ink turning sepia-brown; old edgewear and holing olong old lines; repaired on back with manuscript tissue-tape; somewhat darkened; all text visible and readable, accomplished in a good hand; interesting Newtown, Long Island real estate development history ephemera from the mid-part of the 19th century. . Good.
