Prescott, Arizona. Photograph. B&W photograph on card mount depicting a canyon wall and river, from the series "Views in Arizona" in very good condition. On verso is printed and handwritten text supplying the title of the photo and areas of the west that Erwin Baer photographs. German-born photographer Erwin Baer worked out of Prescott in the early 1900s where he was primarily known as a mine photographer. No date for this image, but most likely early 1900s. Some light wear to the card, 8 1/2" x 5 1/4" mount with 6 3/4" x 4" photograph is clean with wonderful contrast and light soiling. ; 8 1/2" x 5 1/4" .
