Unpaginated, approximately 30 pp. A few black and white reproductions of paintings present. A catalog to an exhibition of paintings by a group of American artists of the late 1800s and early 1900s, who organized an exhibition as The Eight, to protest painting in America and highlight a new, modernist approach to painting. This includes work by Robert Henri, John Sloan, William J. Glackens, Ernest Lawson, Maurice Prendergast, George B. Luks, Everett Shinn and Arthur B. Davies. GOOD+ condition. Minor soiling, toning and wrinkling to the covers. Light bumping along the extremities.
