The golden plates were discovered in upstate New York and translated by Joseph Smith, Jr., under the guidance of an angel, Moroni. From this divine revelation, Smith founded the Mormon sect, which is now comprised of more than 12.5 million members worldwide.

The website where anyone can obtain their own free copy is www.lds.org; in addition, the church, the missionaries, and any of its members will be more than happy to provide a free copy of this glorious book, for anyone seeking the truths to our Heavenly Father and his only begotten son, Jesus Christs' convenants, I bear this testimony in the name of the living messiah Jesus Christ, amen.
