Hard Cover. 428 pages: 6.75 x 9.5 in.: 2.8: KB#010194: Book is contained in a beautiful, fine condition, matching labeled cloth clamshell box. Bookjacket/dustjacket now protected by a new Brodart Mylar Cover. Dustjacket is price clipped and has some edge cuts and a small edge chip. Book's boards and pages are clean, unmarked, bright, tightly bound and sharp cornered. Scarce, Out Of Print, Book. Has scarce Scribner's "A" on copyright page. Boards are original decorated beige cloth, with front and spine lettering stamped in green and a green picture of a boy with his fawn on the front board and yellow endpapers. A classic novel that was the best-selling novel in America for the year 1938, won the Pulitzer Prize for the Novel in 1939, and was adapted into a film in 1946, starring Gregory Peck and Jane Wyman, both of whom were nominated for Oscars for their performances.: B&W Illustrations .
