Mounted In folder and covered with tissue laid in. Includes identifying notes. Plate is 12" x 9" on sheet of handmade acid free paper 12" x 16 1/2". The folder has two leaves and is 17 1/2" x 23". Condition is fine with a single crease to the tissue on the upper right. One of 125 issued. Authentic original. Werner Laves, who grew up in Berlin, began his artistic career in 1919 with a degree at the Staatliche Gewerbeschule in Weimar, which was interrupted by a short stay in 1920 at the Kunstgewerbeschule München. In 1923 he moved to the College of Fine Arts in Berlin, Laves continues to work as an artist. Until the 1960s he participated in numerous exhibitions.
