295 Pages.This absolute classic recounting some of the Gordon Clan of Scotland's history's exterior has worn areas at the top and bottom, and along the verticle sides of the spine and it seems to have repaired tears on the spine. The four corners have worn areas on them and the bottom and top book edges have wearing on them. Lastly, the front cover has two small worn spots, a lightly stained upper left corner area, and both the front and back covers have areas of wearing on them. The gold lettering on the front cover is still in good shape though the gold lettering on the spine has faded some and the gilt top page edge of the closed book is still preserved. Stated: Revised Edition.This is a very interesting and historical look at Massachusetts in 1849 and all of its towns, counties, districts, churches, geographical features, fashionable resorts, and statistics of its manufacturing, agriculture, and commerce. The book is in a generally poor condition. The exterior spine is missing more than half of its covering, the front board has mostly detached from the book (but the rear board is still tightly attached), all edges have worn areas on them and all four corners are worn and the front and rear boards have worn areas on them but the embossed areas are still visible and in moderate shape.
