Los Angeles: Review Productions / ABC Television, 1954. Original mimeograph 40 page shooting script for an episode ‘Girl on a Drum’ for the television series The Pepsi-Cola Playhouse, starring Lita Baron. This is Lita Brown’s working copy with her annotations throughout. The episode aired on May 7, 1954 and co-starred Anita Colby and Edward Colmans. Laid in is an 8” x 10” black & white publicity photographic portrait of Ms. Brown. Specially bound in gilt-stamped white leather with “Lita Brown” gilt-stamped at the lower right corner of the front board. A lightly dust-soiled copy with some edge wear and a bit of scuffing to the spine. Lita Baron (1923 - 2015) is best known for her roles in Don Ricardo Returns (1946), High School Hero (1946), Bomba on Panther Island (1949), and Red Sundown (1956) with Rory Calhoun and Martha Hyer.

Bradbound. Fine copy in printed covers. The film tells the action packed story of a veteran cop (Eastwood) who is paired up with a newcomer to the force (Sheen) with the assignment to chase down a dangerous German criminal (Julia).

Illustrated with terrific still photographs and with full page congratulations from Warner Brothers and Universal Pictures. With an Eastwood biography and filmography. Paperbound. Very fine condition.

Actor Charlie Sheen’s own personal annotated shooting script spring bound in full blue gilt-stamped leather With “Charlie Sheen” stamped in gold on the lower right hand portion of the front cover. Charlie Sheen has signed the script in the upper right hand corner of the title page underneath which he has written his character’s name “David Ackerman”. At the end of the script on a blank page, Sheen has written a long full page strange poem dealing with the driver taking him to the film set. Affixed to the front flyleaf are two original on set color polaroid photographs. One shows Sheen with his shotgun and police equipment, the other displays the assorted guns used along with packs of movie prop drugs. Very good condition. Los Angeles: Malpaso - Warner Brothers, 1971. First Edition. Original 145 page revised final shooting script with many colored rewrite pages printed on pink, green, blue papers. Brad bound in printed studio wrappers. Very good. One of the great classics of Clint Eastwood’s career and a truly iconic American film, Dirty Harry spawned several sequels. Directed by the great Don Siegel, the film was a breakthrough picture in its approach to violence and redefined the role of the police detective.

Based on Forrest Carter’s 2 Josey Wales novels. Widely regarded to be Eastwood’s finest western.

Newport Beach, CA: Donovan, 1993. First Edition. Signed by the author / actor, Buddy Ebsen, on the title page. Illustrated. A lightly handled copy with some rubbing to the cloth and with the dust jacket stuck to the rear board. Ebsen is best remembered as Jed Clampett in the Beverly Hillbillies television series. The memoirs of the film actor who was originally cast as the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz but was replaced when the aluminum makeup during shooting made him ill. The book has some terrific photos of him in the role.

New York: Maurice Inman, Inc, 1932. Revised and Enlarged Edition. Number 335 of an edition limited to 750 copies. Laid in is an Autograph Letter Signed by the author John C. Eckel to the bookseller John Howell in Philadelphia, dated September 17, 1917, expressing appreciation of Eckel’s earlier Dickens bibliography published in 1913. About fine copy with a tiny bit of rubbing to the leather binding at the bottom of the spine fold and front board in original publisher’s dust wrapper and slipcase.

Original 54 page revised shooting script used in the production of the dramatic television series, Call to Glory, entitled ‘Blackbird,’ written by Rick Edelstein, which aired on August 27, 1984 (Season 1, Episode 3: Blackbird). Bradbound. Fine copy in printed studio wrappers. The show was set on a military base with stories touching on various conspiracy theories. It starred Craig T. Nelson, Elisabeth Shue, Keenan Wynn, Tim Cutt, Janice Heiden, and Edward Winter.
