Rollins Jr., Elizabeth McGovern, Brad Dourif, Norman Mailer, Moses Gunn, Pat O'Brien, Debbie Allen, Jeffrey DeMunn, Donald O’Connor, Mandy Patinkin, Jeff Daniels, Fran Drescher, Samuel L. Jackson, Ethan Phillips and John Ratzenberger. The film was a great success and was nominated for 8 Academy Awards.

The image is of Miss Callas in theatrical make-up being kissed on the cheek by Sir Rudolf Bing, General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
