Gedruckt bei A. Marrer & Sohn, New York, 1878. Paperback. Good. Small 8vo, paperback. Lecture given by Valentini at Republican Hall on the Mexican (Aztec) Calendar Stone, also known as the Sun Stone, discovered in Mexico City in 1790. Good condition: binding is a bit fragile, rear cover partly detached. Front cover shows an Antiquarian Society blindstamp along with faintly handwritten Society name and "gift of" information. Contents mildly & uniformly toned as expected, otherwise clean, no markings or foxing. 32 p., one folding plate of the calendar stone laid in. Text in German.
