New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1990. First trade edition with original first trade edition dust jacket. Winner of the 1990 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Dust jacket is in very good condition. The front flap contains the original price of $21.95 on the top right corner. Some surface wear to the front and rear panels. The book is in very good plus to near fine condition. FIRST TRADE EDITION, is stated on the bottom of the copyright page, with reference to the Franklin printed edition as the first edition. The navy colored boards are very well preserved and the gold and silver lettering on the spine and front board remains bright and intact. The edges of the book are sharp and crisp. Slight sun fading to the bottom and top edges of the front and rear boards and spine.

Synopsis

Rabbit at Rest is a 1990 novel by John Updike. It is the fourth and final novel in a series beginning with Rabbit, Run, Rabbit Redux, and Rabbit is Rich. There is also a related 2001 novella, Rabbit Remembered. The novel won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1991, the second "Rabbit" novel to garner the award.
