About This Item
New York & Nashville: Abingdon-Cokesbury Press, 1951. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. An historical chapter book about the founder of Methodism by May McNeer, illustrated by her husband Lynd Ward.
96 pages. With many full-page color illustrations. First edition (first printing, with an "A" on the copyright page and no indications of later printings). This is a very good copy in burgundy cloth, showing minor shelfwear. The jacket (correctly priced at $2.50) is missing a couple of shallow pieces along the top edge and at the corners, but is generally about very good. Signed by McNeer and Ward opposite the title page.
