Boards rubbed and foxed and just starting to crack off, but still securely enough attached for handling. A child has colored in a few of the illustrations with crayons. A few of the pages have small closed tears on the edges. Pages securely attached. A well-loved, much-read copy. The first printing of this vintage Little Golden Book.
