First published in 1895, St. Multose Church Kinsale: As it was, and is, and ought to be was the work of the then rector of Kinsale, the Rev. John Lindsey Darling. It used detailed architectural drawings, sketches and photographs to illustrate the history of the church, its state in the 1890s and the alterations that Rev. Darling proposed to restore it to its former self. The result is a publication that provides us with an unique insight into the structure and history of an iconic church which was originally built in the 1190s.
